"You could laugh devilishly and charmingly. But then I'd have to drive to Fandom and remove your pants wherever you might be, and that could be awkward," Rory decided.

Rory blushed. "...yes."

Rory buried her face in a pillow. "I need to stop saying everything that comes into my head."

"Yeah, but seriously."

"I'm not blushing," Rory, who was blushing like crazy, mumbled.

"So what exciting things are you up to?"

Change of subject? Rory? Never.

She smiled at that. "How'd you help her?"

Rory nodded. "It's going okay?"

"Good," she murmured, stretching on the bed and positioning the phone so he'd still be able to see her.

Rory raised her eyebrows. "I'm exhausted. Not my prettiest."

"You help me sleep," she said softly.

Rory considered him for a second, then grabbed a pillow, curling up around it. "This will be my Anakin-pillow. A substitution when you can't be here to cuddle with."

"No," she assured him. "But any time I go, 'I miss Anakin and wish he was here and holding me and sleeping with me,' I'll have my pillow. And then I can call you and I won't need to give it your voice, because I'll have everything but the physical."
