Noticing Anakin's open door, John couldn't help but stop by. Of course, he didn't realize that when he opened his mouth he would sing at his former professor.

"Hello! Is it me you're looking for?" And wow, that was a strange sentiment, accompanied by a rather surprised look on John's face.

Anakin blinked.

A lot.

"Um."

John shook his head, deciding to try this again.

"Hey, been trying to meet you," John sang. Again, not meaning it like that. Third time's the charm, right?

"Hey, must be a devil between us."

He clamped his mouth shut and waved.

Anakin waved a hand back. "What is wrong with you?"

John shrugged to convey his confusion, pointing at Anakin questioningly.

Anakin shrugged, opened his mouth, and came out with, "I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell..." and stopped, looking horrified.

John laughed, so happy was he not to be alone in this. Of course, he tried to speak again.

"I'm sorry 'bout the attitude
I need to give when I'm with you
But no one else would take this shit from me..."

Oh crap.

Anakin arched up an eyebrow.

"It's not time to make a change,
Just relax, take it easy.
You're still young, that's your fault,
There's so much you have to know..."

He glared at the ceiling. Something was going to pay for making him sing this drivel.

Sometime during the middle of the day, on a break between classes, Rory decided to call Anakin. She didn't even have her wedding binder with her.

He meant to say hello.

What came out was, "The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful/stop me and steal my breath."

Anakin was less than pleased.

Rory stared at her phone.

Then shook it.

"...Anakin?"

There was an unhappy sigh.

"Fandom."

"Oh, is it singing day again?" she wondered. "Wow, it's been like two years since that, huh? Hi."

"Far away...
Can't anybody stay in one place any more..."

There was something that sounded suspiciously like a Jedi banging his head on the desk.

"Do you want me to call back?" Rory offered. Generously, she thought, considering how hard she was trying not to laugh at him.

"No," Anakin said quickly. "I miss you."

Because it had been a whole day. Anakin had gotten a little spoiled over break.
